Message	most aftermarket cf hoods aren't made of pure cf (as in what you'd find on a real race car). They usually have a steel frame of some sort, then have several layers of fiberglass, then a top coat of cf. If it were 100% cf, then it should be lighter that the aluminum hood. The stocker is around 10 lbs, most aftermarkets that I've seen for sale are around 12-15. Steel hoods are around 45 Alex
